A property brochure works hardest when it bridges the physical and digital worlds. A QR code does exactly that by providing prospective buyers a one-scan path from a printed flyer to a full online listing, complete with photo galleries, virtual tours, floor plans, and agent contact details.
Whether you're preparing brochures for an open home or a letterbox drop, embedding a QR code is a small addition that makes a big difference. In this guide, we'll walk through how to generate a QR code for your property listing and incorporate it cleanly into your brochure design.
- Either create a new PDF design template or clone and edit an existing one.
- On the left hand side of the screen, click Components.
- Click and hold QRCode.
- Drag and drop QRCode anywhere within the brochure.
- On the right hand side, click General.
- Locate the Content field.
- Remove "https://craftmypdf.com" from the Content field.
- Click Insert Data Expression.
- Under Step 2, select listing_website_url.
- Under Step 4, click Use This.
- In the top left corner, click the Preview tab to view an example brochure to view how the QR Code will be displayed on the brochure.
- Click Designer tab.
- Adjust the QR code position and size as required.
- Repeat steps 11 - 13 until you are happy with the QR code.
- With the Designer tab open, click Save.
You can now generate the brochure from within the required listing.
