If you have an existing list of contacts you'd like brought into the CRM, you can use a CSV file which can be imported using the built-in Data Import feature. To get started, we'll provide you with a CSV template to format your data.
This article will guide you through preparing the CSV file and importing the data.
- Download the sample CSV.
- Fill out the CSV with the contact data.
- ID is a required field and needs to be unique. If not known, you can use 1, 2, 3, etc.
- The first_name field is required.
- All other column headings are optional; you can leave them blank.
- Do not change the order of, remove or rename any of the column headings.
- Remove the example entry.
- Save the CSV file.
- In Grow CRM, click the account name in the top-left corner (next to the Grow CRM switcher).
- Click Account Settings.
- On the side menu, click Data Imports.
- Click Create Data Import.
- Fill in the details of the Data Import.

Data Source: Set to Eagle.
- Click Save Data Import.
- Click Upload Files.
- Follow your device's prompts to upload the CSV file.
- Once uploaded, click Next.
- Wait for Grow CRM to verify the file.

- Set the Data To Import field to Contacts.
- Click Next.
- Adjust the Group mappings as required.

- Wait for Grow CRM to import the data.

Once the import is completed, you will see an Import Report that will advise if there were any import errors.
