Update Existing Workflows To Work With ApplySafe (Beta)

With the release of ApplySafe, the rental application process has moved to a new, more secure application form. If your existing Workflows contain a hardcoded "Apply" link in a Send SMS or Send Email action, that link will no longer point to the correct application form. To keep tenants moving smoothly through your application process, you'll need to update these workflows so the "Apply" hyperlink uses the dynamic "Rental application form URL" merge tag instead, ensuring each message always sends applicants to the correct, up-to-date form.

1. On the side menu, click Workflows.
   
2. Hover your cursor over the required workflow.
3. Click Edit.
   
4. Click on the required Send SMS or Send Email action.
   
5. In the Content section, click Merge Tags.
6. Hover your cursor over Listing.
7. Click "Rental application form URL".
   
8. The merge tag will now appear in the body of the message. Highlight the entire tag.
   
9. Press Ctrl X or Cmd X on your keyboard to cut the merge field.
10. Highlight the existing "Apply" hyperlink.
11. Click the "Insert/edit link" button.
    
12. Replace the entire existing URL with the merge field.
    
13. Click Close Slideout.
    
14. Repeat steps 4 - 13 for all required messages.
15. Click Save And Exit.
    
16. Repeat steps 2 - 15 for all required workflows.
