Once a property has been sold, it is important to update the listing and mark it as Sold as soon as possible to ensure the data remains accurate.
This article will guide you through marking a property as sold.
- On the side menu, click Properties.
- Click Listings.
- Click the address of the required listing.
- Click Edit.
- Click on the Status field.
- Select Sold.
- Review and update (if needed) the Listing Sold Price and Listing Sold Date fields.
- Decide whether the contract needs to be updated:
- Yes: Tick the 'Do you want to update the contract?' checkbox and move on to step 9.
- No: Untick the 'Do you want to update the contract?' checkbox and skip to step 12.
- Review and update (if needed) the Contract Settlement Date field.
- Confirm whether the contract has settled.
- Yes: Tick the 'Mark As Settled' checkbox.
- No: Untick the 'Mark As Settled' checkbox.
- Review and update (if needed) the Vendors and Purchasers fields.
- Click Mark As Sold.
