    Hi Marie,

    You can achieve this in your workflows by branching on the user. So for example, lets say your trigger is "New enquiry is created".

    If you are using the default workflows, the first step assigns the contact. After that, create a new step, and select the "Branch" option. In the "Data Object" field, select "Contact from trigger". In the "Field to branch on" field, select "Contact User". Then in the first branch, select the users who does not want the workflow enabled.

    This will create a branch for every user who does not want the workflow enabled. In that branch, add a step "Stop". This will stop the workflow for that user, but for all of the other users it will keep running.
