Syncing Contacts With Your Mobile Device

You can easily access your contacts on your mobile device by syncing them with our server. There are two options for doing this:

• Use a dedicated app like DAVx⁵ for enhanced management and syncing capabilities.
• Add your account directly to your device's settings for seamless integration with the default Contacts app.

Below are the detailed instructions for each method and device type.

Android Setup: Using DAVx⁵

1. Install DAVx⁵

1. Open the Google Play Store on your Android device.
2. In the search bar, type DAVx⁵
3. Select the app from the results.
4. Tap the Install button to download and install the app.
5. Once installed, open the app to proceed.

2. Set Up A New Account

When you open DAVx⁵ for the first time, you will see a screen prompting you to add an account.

1. Tap the "+" (Add Account) button.
2. Select the 'Login with URL and user name' option.
3.  Enter the following details:
   • Server URL: https://cal.phoenixsoftware.io/dav.php
   • Username: Enter your account username.
   • Password: Enter your account password.
      
4. After entering the details, tap Connect. 
   • The app will verify your credentials and connect to the server.
      
5. After connecting, select Contacts from the resources list.

3. Adjust Sync Settings (Optional)

To customise how often your data is updated:

1. Go to the account settings in DAVx⁵.
2. Tap Sync Interval.
3. Choose your preferred sync frequency. 
   • You can set it to sync automatically or manually as needed.

Manual Synchronization

To sync manually at any time:

1. Open the DAVx⁵ app.
2. Tap your account.
3. Tap the Menu (three dots in the top-right corner)
4. Select Sync Now.

This will update your contacts immediately.

iPhone/iPad Setup: Add Your Account

1. Add A New Account Via Settings

1. On your iPhone or iPad, open the Settings app.
2. Tap Apps.
   
3. Tap Contacts
   
4. Tap Contacts Accounts.
   
5. Tap the Add Account button.
   
6. Tap Add Other Account.
   
7. Tap Add CardDAV Account to sync contacts.
   
8. Fill in the form with the following information:
   • Server: https://cal.phoenixsoftware.io/dav.php
   • Username: Enter your account username.
   • Password: Enter your account password.
   • Description: Enter a name like "PropertyMe Grow CRM" to easily identify this account.
      
9. Tap Next.
   
    

Your device will verify the information and set up the account.

2. Verify Syncing

1. Open the Contacts app.
2. Tap Groups to ensure the correct groups are selected.

2. Pull down on the screen to refresh and sync the latest data.
