If a contact has requested to be removed from marketing communication, there are currently two ways to do so:
- Use The Unsubscribe Link In Emails
- Update The Contact Record

Use The Unsubscribe Link In Emails
Every marketing email includes an Unsubscribe link at the bottom. Contacts can click this link at any time to opt out of future marketing emails.
You can also include an unsubscribe option directly within your email content using the merge tag: {{unsubscribe}}
This can be placed anywhere in your email to make it easy for contacts to unsubscribe.
Update The Contact Record
- On the side menu, click CRM.
- Click Contacts.
- Click the name of the required contact.
- Under Details, scroll down until you locate the following options:
- Subscribed To Email Marketing

Subscribed To Sms Marketing
- Untick one or both options as needed.
- Click Save.
